The MAHLE X20 Gen.2 drive unit opens up a whole new range of riding possibilities while ensuring that eBikes are indistinguishable from high-performance bikes in terms of appearance and riding experience. The X20 now offers up to 65 Nm of torque* and 275 W of peak power while retaining its compact shape and low weight. The new drive unit is compatible with the Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) standard. Removing the rear wheel is now even easier thanks to the new thru axle mechanism and magnetic connection.

With a total weight of approximately 3 kg, including the drive unit (1.39 kg), internal rechargeable battery, and head unit, the MAHLE X20 complete system is probably the lightest premium eBike system on the market. The rear hub system from MAHLE enables the configuration of high-performance eBikes weighing less than 10 kg, ideal for the steepest and longest rides, while ensuring powerful motor assistance and a fully integrated look.

The drive unit is supplied without a freewheel body. This is available as an option. Only compatible with freewheel bodies that are explicitly approved for the MAHLE X20 Gen.2 drive unit!
