Details of the Fizik Vento Stabilita Carbon road cycling shoes

Dynamic Arch Support 2.0Every watt generated during cycling is transferred to the bike via the soles of the feet. If the plantar fascia is properly supported, the medial arch stiffens and enables efficient power transmission. Adjustable arch support is therefore essential for both comfort and performance in competition. The Dynamic Arch Support 2.0 system, which can be adjusted with a separate BOA controller, is a fully integrated part of the carbon outsole. A special part of the shoe upper encloses the plantar arch, providing better support while adapting to each athlete's unique foot shape. In addition, Fizik's volume control system allows differentiated adjustment of the fit at the instep and forefoot area, the shape and volume of which can vary greatly from rider to rider. Two separate BOA twist locks allow cyclists to adjust the shoes to the shape of their foot and thus customize comfort and support. The Li2 BOA® twist locks are characterized by a low, aerodynamic profile with a small diameter. The upper is made of an elastic polyurethane laminated material fixed to a comfortable mesh fabric, which prevents the material from stretching too much and provides the foot with long-lasting support where it is needed most. Everything about the Vento Stabilita Carbon road shoe is designed for ultimate power transfer - from the advanced fit characteristics to the R1 sole: a technical carbon fiber layup that saves weight and provides increased stiffness; with an index of 10, this outsole is currently the stiffest from Fizik.
